This is the traditional postcard view of Taipei 101 from Elephant Mountain. Ironically, it isn’t a mountain and there aren’t any elephants there. But, it is a lovely contrast to urban Taipei, with a gentle breeze at the peak to stir the often rather humid air.

Meeting Tuan Tuan, Taipei
Charisma is there or it isn’t. Tuan Tuan is the youngest panda at Taipei Zoo and as you can see is a charismatic fellow, sitting patiently while his many visitors coo and take his photograph.
