Being from the UK, I always struggle with the idea that a place can be hot enough to live outside all year round. Here you can see someone fishing with a hand net, casting from the beach, probably for a restaurant which is just behind where I took this picture.

My contribution to the mountain of cat pictures found on the Internet. Penang has a large stray cat population – most being more elusive than this little character. Most appear to have a kink in their tails.
